When you play as a guest, your wins and streaks are kept in your browser. That means they stay on the device you played on and can be cleared if you wipe your browser data.
How are my checkers stats saved?
Quick answer: Your basic game stats are stored locally in your browser so you can keep playing without an account, and if you sign in with Google your record is saved to your profile so it follows you across devices.
You are never required to make an account, but signing in gives your stats a permanent home.
